In this Project, a small leak turned into a complete basement overhaul. It turns out that when the leak got under the flooring, the flooring had to be completely removed because it was asbestos. The flooring went all the way under the bathroom. In addition, the ceiling where the leak took place had to be replaced as well as the walls and the framing, Which wasn’t up the code because it was built in 1964.
